Study in Malta

With travel restrictions gradually loosening and global borders reopening, one of the world’s leading language networks Verbalists Education, owned by PRODIREKT, launched a promotional campaign aiming to position Malta as the top language tourism destination for this summer. The decision came as no surprise, as Malta has established itself as a safe destination for travelers from around the world. The Language Network’s promotional efforts will be supported by its continued partnership with the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) and the ELT Council.

Through a mix of public relations, digital marketing and advertising services in the Southeast Europe, Verbalists will be raising the profile of Malta as an ideal place for young learners, groups, business travelers, and families to spend a holiday, while studying English. The campaign will also enhance the recently announced MTA’s €1 million scheme designed to boost the ELT sector.

Dejan Trpkovic, Managing Director of PRODIREKT and Founder of Verbalists Education said: “The partnership with the MTA and ELT Council has provided an extra layer of confidence for the campaign, while reinforcing the message to book a language program with trusted schools and agents.”

Malta, the gem of the Mediterranean and the crossroads of cultures and people is a destination like no other. With dazzling beaches and clear blue waters, cities adorned with astonishing architecture, rich and deep-rooted history, delicious foods found nowhere else, the Maltese islands offer a truly exceptional experience. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, more than 85,000 foreign students from diverse age groups visited Malta annually to learn English and to benefit from leisure and cultural activities. There are currently 38 licensed ELT schools in Malta and Gozo.

As of June 1, all schools in Malta are officially back for face-to-face classes! With 64% of the population in Malta now vaccinated with at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, the beautiful Maltese islands in the heart of the Mediterranean are the safe option to spend a long-awaited language holiday.
